Report: Sundowns to tempt Billiat with big offer

Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly preparing a new bumper deal for Khama Billiat as they look to keep the Zimbabwean international in SA.

Billiat has been a key figure for the Sundowns as they clinched the ABSA Premiership and the CAF Champions League.

He is also the reigning ABSA Premiership Footballer of the Year. Billiat’s exploits have attracted interest from foreign clubs but no concrete offers has been made with his R25 million rand buy out clause proving to be the main stumbling block.

But will Billiat’s contract coming to an end next year , Billiat are keen to keep their prized possession for five more years.

According to Kickoff.com the new deal will make Billiat the highest paid player in the ABSA Premiership  and will keep him at the club until 2021.

Billiat who is 26 this year will likely end his chances of playing in the big European leagues if he commits to a new deal with the club.
