Chitembwe not interested in Warriors job

CAPS United head coach, Lloyd Chitembwe, says he has not interested in the Warriors job for now.

Chitembwe had been linked with the post after Callisto Pasuwa’s contract was not renewed by the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) but has ruled himself out to focus on club football.

ZIFA has now handed the job to FC Platinum head coach, Norman Mapeza, on an interim basis ahead of the friendly international against Zambia on Sunday.

Speaking to H-Metro Chitembwe said, “I will be honest, such aspirations are out of my sight. I am not interested in the Warriors job at the moment.

“The truth is that I don’t want anything to disturb me in this journey I started.

“I am not ruling out any possibilities in future, but for now, I am totally a CAPS United employee. My heart is here and I don’t think I will be able to take on a new task this year,” he added.
