Highlanders to miss foreign trio

Highlanders are set to miss three of their new signings when they clash with Bulawayo City at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

The foreign trio of Tambwe Kalunga ,Ebabali Yves and Manuel Esono are ruled of the tie as their paperwork is yet to be finalised.

According to Highlanders, Esono is still waiting for his reverse clearance while both Kalung and Yves are still to be issued with work permits.

Speaking at Highlanders press conference acting chairman Modern Ngwenya said they were now contemplating attempting to process the paperwork in Harare as it was taking longer than expected.

Meanwhile Highlanders have promoted central defender Charlton Siyamalonga to the senior squad from the developmental side together with goalkeeper Madeya Nderick and Ray Lunga.

Ngwenya said the promotions showed Highlanders was making progress. “It shows we are making progress towards our juniors development said Ngwenya.
