FC Platinum head coach Norman Mapeza says he is expecting a tough match against Dynamos at the National Sports Stadium when the two sides get their seasons underway.

“It’s a massive game for us , we are starting our season and it’s not easy playing against Dynamos said Mapeza this afternoon.

“But I hope we go to Harare and we try to play our normal game . These first games of the season are very tricky but we will try and get a positive result.

FC Platinum registered back to back victories against Dynamos for the first time in the league last season but Mapeza refused to read much into the past heading into Sunday’s game

“This is a whole new season altogether , I am not some who dwells on what happened in the past .We managed to get six points from Dynamos last season but I believes this will be a new ball game.

“It’s going to be a massive game for us and a long season it’s a marathon .“We are playing 34 games this season best thing is to take each game as it comes.

When asked about FC Platinum title chances Mapeza said he preferred to take each game as it came than speaking about title now

“We have our own objectives as a club, the most important thing is for us to stay focused and to try and achieve those objectives and when we see what happens he added.
