Mangwiro : I can win league title with Triangle

Triangle head coach Taurai Mangwiro believes he can win the league title with the Lowveld side.

Mangwiro said he quit his job as Zifa High Perfomance Committee (HPC) chairman as felt he still needs to prove himself on the bench by winning the league title.

He said; “I decided to come back to coaching because I believe I still need to prove myself and the only way I can do that is to win the league title on the domestic scene.”

“The task is achievable with Triangle if we make sure that we win our home matches and try to grind results when we playing away but it won’t be any easy task.

“It would need unity of purpose from the management, technical team, players right up to the supporters,” added Mangwiro.

The former Caps United coach quit his job at Zifa after being lured by the sugar boys and roped in Innocent Chogugudza as goalkeepers’ coach who was also a member of the HPC.

The ‘Sugar Sugar Boys’ played a goalless draw in their first Castle Lager premiership match against Chapungu at Ascot over the weekend.
