Highlanders head coach Erol Akbay has returned to training after sorting his money issues with the club executive.

Akbay staged boycotted some training sessions this week over the outstanding money but has now played down the incident and said all was now resolved.

Speaking at the club’s weekly conference Akbay admitted they had been some issues.

“I am happy now because we have talked with the club treasurer and have agreed on some things.

Akbay said he was now focused on getting a second consecutive win of the season. “The problem has now been resolved so we can move on now  and I am ready to win our Sunday game against Shabanie Mine he added.

Highlanders have admitted Akbay is still owed some of his $10 000 signing on fees .
