FC Platinum wary of ‘wounded’ Bantu Rovers

FC Platinum will approach the game against Bantu Rovers with caution when the two sides clash at Maglas Stadium in a Castle Lager premiership encounter on this afternoon.

Despite Bantu Rovers suffering a 0 – 5 defeat to Chicken Inn in their first game of the season FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza reckons Tshintsha Guluva can spring a surprise.

He said: “It’s not going to be an easy game against Bantu Rovers because by now they have worked on their shortcomings after their loss to Chicken Inn.

No one is guaranteed maximum points in the league because everyone is in the league to compete.”

Mapeza said they will approach the game with the same mentality they showed against Dynamos.

The platinum miners overcame Dembare one nil in their opening game of the season at the National Sports Stadium and are favourites going into the game against Bantu Rovers.

The match is one of four lined up this afternoon.
