Billiat strikes twice as Sundowns hammer Supersport United 5-0

Khama Billiat scored twice and clinched the man of the match award as Mamelodi Sundowns returned to winning ways by thumping Supersport United 5-0 in the ABSA Premiership this evening.

Sundowns came into the match on a five match winless streak but turned on the style to hammer their Pretoria neighbours.

Sundowns took an early lead when  Supersport defender Clayton Daniels put the ball into the back of his own net in the 7th minute.

Themba Zwane added a second before Billiat set up Mzikayise Mashaba with a back heel to score the third goal.

Billiat then scored the fourth goal just before the halftime break with a low shot that beat SuperSport goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse.

In the second half Billiat got his second in the 61st minute of the evening with another well taken goal.

The result puts Mamelodi Sundowns in fourth spot with 38 points but having played three games less than log leaders Cape Town City that have 45 points.
