ZIFA have revealed the prize money for the Uhuru Cup that is set to kick off today. Holders Chicken Inn were snubbed this year with ZIFA stating the organisers of the tournament reserved the right to choose who to invite. 

CAPS United will play Dynamos in one semi-final at the National Sports Stadium while Highlanders host FC Platinum in the other match at Barbourfields.

The winners will meet in the final set for the 18th of April as part of the country’s Independence celebrations.

According to ZIFA a total of $35 000 has been set aside for the tournament, winners will walk away with $15 000, runners up $10 000, 3rd placed team $6 000 and fourth placed $4000.
