Khama Billiat remains confident in Mamelodi Sundowns ability to retain the ABSA Premiership despite a hectic schedule the club has had to endure.
Sundowns are playing catch up due to their involvement in the African Safari as well as the FIFA World Club Cup.
The situation has resulted in a fixture pile up for Sundowns players and they have been concerns of fatigue in the squad.
However Billiat who has been getting back to his best against Supersport United played down the fatigue situation.
“Fatigue is always going to be there but you can still win games with fatigue if your mind is right, if you’re well-managed and you’re more hungry than people that aren’t fatigued Billiat told Kickoff.com
“I think we have played more games and we should be well motivated, knowing that this is our life – you’re always going to play more games than others if you want to live in the Champions circle.
Sundowns are fourth on the ABSA premiership standings with 41 points, four behind leaders Cape Town City but with a two matches in hand.
