Yadah beat Ngezi Platinum, FC Platinum held , How Mine secure first win

In the Castle Lager Premiership this afternoon Ngezi Platinum and FC Platinum’s dropped points for the first time this season. 

Ngezi Platinum were handed a 1-0 defeat by Yadah FC at the National Sports Stadium. The Prophet Magaya owned outfit are now unbeaten after their first four games of the season.

Brian Chakwenya struck the only goal of the match in the 13th minute with a well taken free kick. Although Ndiraya’s side pressed for an equaliser especially in the second half Yadah held on to claim all three points.

At Barbourfields Stadium, FC Platinum got off to a flying start when Charles Sibanda scored in the second minute of the game.

FC Platinum could have added more goals in the first half but missed their chances allowing Bulawayo City to hit back in the second half. Mkukhuli Moyo grabbed the equaliser in the 70th minute to deny FC Platinum maximum points.

At Luveve Stadium, Kelvin Kaindu’s How Mine secured their first win of the season by coming back from a goal down to win 2-1 against Chapungu.  Philip Marufu gave Chapungu the lead just before half-time but goals by Kuda Musharu and Pasca Manhanga in the second half saw How Mine clinch the win.
