Antipas wants focus as Amazulu target return to ABSA Premiership

Joey Antipas has called for focus from National First Division side Amazulu after they moved second in the standings with five matches left to play.

Amazulu beat Cape Town Stars 3-1 at the weekend a result that sees them move into a PSL play off spot. Antipas though is keen for his side to remain grounded and take each game as it comes.

“There’s no need to be carried away, we just got to take each game as it comes and go with the right focus and right attitude,” Antipas told Kickoff.com

“We just got to keep our feet on the ground and stay humbled and just keep on working hard, and if we do that then we can do it

“But going forward now, one thing I can say the team spirit is tremendous and we just going to keep up that fighting spirit.

The former Chicken Inn man was recruited by Amazulu last year and handed the task of getting the Kwazulu Natal based side back in the top flight and remains on track to do just that.
