Triangle head coach Taurai Mangwiro admits he was relieved to finally register a first league of the season as his side beat Bulawayo City 2-1.

Bulawayo City lead 1-0 in the first half but goals by James Chivasa and Lameck Nhamo saw Triangle turn things around to win the match.

“We needed the win to convince everyone that we know what we are doing said Mangwiro after the match. A loss could have strengthened the dissenting voices those that feel we are not doing enough and I am happy we won.

Mangwiro says he hoped his side can build up on the win in the coming games after a slow start. Triangle now have six points from six games and are now in 12th position on the log standings.
