PSL: Chamboko pounces to inflict another defeat on Harare City, How Mine outwits Bantu Rovers

First half strike from Chamboko has earned ZPC Kariba a deserved 1-0 away victory over Harare City in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

City had their moments, but they were thoroughly outclassed and outfought by their fierce rivals who confirmed that they would remain above the Sunshine boys in the standings as they remain winless in the opening 5 matches.

Harare City looked the better of the 2 sides in the early exchanges of the game with intent to attack.

However, it was not long before Kariba went ahead through Chamboko, who was on hand to net after a good interchange of passes with Zekumbawire.

Tendai Samanja wasted a late equalizer for the home team and it all but confirmed that ZPC Kariba would be able to comfortably see out their opponentsin front of their own supporters.

As for Harare City, they have now gone 5 matches without a win.

In another league match played in Bulawayo, How Mine beat Bantu Rovers 1 nil.

Toto Banda scored in his second successive match for How Mine piling on more pressure on the struggling PSL returnees.
