CLPSL: How Mine down Black Rhinos, Bulawayo City edge Hwange

How Mine extinguished Black Rhinos good run with a 2-1 win over the in form log leaders, courtesy of a Kuda Musharu’s strike.

Musharu’s late strike ensured How Mine moved up into the top half of the Premier Soccer League courtesy of a dramatic 2-1 victory over Black Rhinos.

In a late flurry of activity at a sun-kissed Luveve Stadiun How Mine grabbed the lead in the 4th minute of the game through regular scorer Toto Banda.

Black Rhinos pressure towards the end of the first half was rewarded with a goal by Lot Chiwunga who equalized on the stroke of halftime.

However, it was not to be for Stix Mutizwa’s side, who have relied on their superb home form and defensive unit to keep them up this season, as Musharu thumped home with 10 minutes left of play.

The victory lifts How mine to 6th on the latest log standings.

In the other Castle Lager Premiership match played in Bulawayo, Bulawayo City edged struggling Hwange 1 nil at Barbourfields Stadium.
