Dodo Appointed new Tsholotsho coach

Tsholostho FC have appointed Darlington Dodo as the new head coach following the resignation of Gift Tawachera from the hot seat two weeks ago, according to reports.

The position has been vacant since Tawachera resigned from the hot seat after the club’s fifth defeat which was a 2-1 loss at the hands of Bulawayo City at home. Tsholotsho have since lost 4-1 to Ngezi Platinum Stars and 2-0 to Chapungu respectively.

“We have appointed Dodo as the head with immediate effect and we are sorting out his registration papers,” Club chairman, Mlamuli Phiri, is quoted as saying by NewsDay.

“He started training with the boys today (yesterday). Hopefully, by the weekend he would have been registered to sit on the bench against Dynamos. He had suggested that he brings with him James Matola as his assistant and while the board is yet to make a decision on that, we have given him the leeway to choose whoever he wants to work with.”
