Highlanders will appeal the PSL Disciplinary decision to hand Dynamos’ the abandoned match at Barbourfields Stadium.

The PSL found Highlanders guilty of causing the match to be abandoned and subsequently awarded the game to Dynamos on a 3-0 scoreline.

In addition, Highlanders were slapped with a $4 000 fine.

“We have received the judgement and we are going to definitely appeal the decision because we believe it is too severe said Highlanders CEO Nhlanhla Dube.

Highlanders are keen to have the match played from the 42nd minute when it was abandoned.

The club is set for another fine after the match against FC Platinum was also abandoned due to crowd trouble.
