Caps United Score 3 Second-Half Goals to beat Bantu Rovers

The Green Machine were back to their best against Bantu Rovers on Tuesday night, hitting three second-half strikes to beat struggling Bantu Rovers 3-0.

Ronald Chitiyo, Dominic Chungwa and Kambanje provided the goals.

The first half of the rescheduled Matchday 8 encounter for Caps United did not go according to plan, as the Premier Soccer League champions squandered clear cut chances but were unable to score. Thankfully for Lloyd Chitembwe’s boys, the second half went much more smoothly.

Chitiyo put Caps United in front in the 46th moment with a volley soon after the break.

Dominic Chungwa extended the lead in brilliant fashion, scoring one of the finest goals of his career to double the lead for Caps United.

Substitute Kambanje, capitalised on Bantu Rovers’ late pressure to seal things up on a counterattack for Caps United.

Caps United moved 3 places up to position 11 in the table, but will hope to ascend up as they have five games in hand to make up ground on the leading pack.
