Mutasa expects a tough contest

Dynamos coach, Lloyd Mutasa, has said he is expecting a tough contest when they play Ngezi Platinum Stars at the National Sports Stadium this evening.

The former premier league champions play host to former Dynamos player and head coach, Tonderai Ndiraya, and  his troops of platinum miners in their 11th premier league match of the season.

Speaking to Soccer24 at Motor Action Sports club, Mutasa said his troops will be circumspect when they play the log leaders who now play home to several former Dynamos players.

“It’s another tough match before us, we are playing the log leaders,” he said.

Mutasa, however, said the Glamour Boys are adequately prepared for the clash, which will determine whether Ngezi Platinum Stars finally lose out on top spot on the league table after the Black Rhinos win yesterday.

“We have prepared well for the match, you know the opposition we are playing against, it’s a good side as well, and they have several former Dynamos players and they would want to prove a point. But all the same, we as Dynamos, we would want to do our best and be able to come out with a positive result,” he said.

Dembare, who have had a stuttering start to the premier league season this year, are exuding confidence having lately registered three wins on the trot by beating Harare City, ZPC Kariba and Tsholotsho FC.

“Obviously the confidence is there, but two games are never the same, hence we would approach it in a professional manner, knowing that we are playing against the log leaders. In order for us to be reckoned, we need to beat the leaders,” said Mutasa.
