Chidzambwa targets COSAFA finals

Warriors coach, Sunday ‘Mhofu’ Chidzambwa, has expressed his desire to reach the finals of the Council of Southern African Football Associations (COSAFA) tournament slated for South Africa next week.

The two time COSAFA winning ZPC Kariba gaffer has set his mind on making it to the finals for the third time in a row for him. If Chidzambwa lifts the COSAFA Castle Cup this year, it will be Zimbabwe’s fifth triumph in the tournament.

“I’m quite happy with their fitness and looking at them I think they are raring to go.

“From what I have seen in this training session, I already have the 11 [players] in my mind. But I can’t tell you now. So I think it has been an eye opener for me, and I hope we are going to have a good team.”
