Chitembwe disappointed with CAPS United players

CAPS United head coach Lloyd Chitembwe has expressed his disappointment with their performance against Al Ahli Tripoli on Wednesday.

CAPS United went into the halftime break leading 2-1 but collapsed spectacularly to lose 4-2.

The result leaves CAPS United needing nothing short of a miracle to go through to the quarterfinals.

CAPS United are bottom of the group with three points from four games, two more matches are left to play.

“It’s never easy to score two goals away at this level of the game and after leading 2-1 we should kill of the game, “ Chitembwe told the Herald.

“I thought it was down to lack of effort, lack of exposure, we lacked the necessary experience and I told the players what I feel after the game, very, very disappointed.
