Striker Mashumba remains at relegated Highlands Park

RELEGATED ABSA Premiership Highlands Park striker Charlton Mashumba will remain at the club following their relegation from the PSL.

The Zimbabwean frontman had signed a contract from Jomos Cosmos to remain at Highlands until 2018.

Highlands Park confirmed that the player will remain at the club despite sources suggesting that there is widespread interests on the player.

“Charlton has two years to go on his contract,” Park co-chairman Brad Kaftel told KickOff.com.

“He is a Highlands Park player, no club has made us an offer to purchase him.”

Mashumba scored 3 goals in 15 games for Park last season.
