Method Mwanjali has been appointed the new captain of Tanzanian side Simba SC.

Mwanjali joined the Tanzanian giants in July 2016 after leaving CAPS United and has been a valuable addition to Simba.

According to the club Mwanjali will be assisted by John Bocco. Mwanjali has captained the Zimbabwe national team,CAPS United and ABSA Premiership side Mamelodi Sundowns in the past. 

The Tanzanian league is set to start later this month and Simba SC will be targeting to lift the league title after missing out on goal difference to great rivals Young African Sports Club (Yanga) last season.
