Gumbo: I feel sorry for CAPS United

Rahman Gumbo wants Chicken Inn to remain at the top but admits he is saddened by CAPS United’s position after beating them this afternoon.

The Gamecocks handed CAPS United a fourth defeat in five gamesObadiah Tarumbwa struck a brace while Passmore Bernard scored the other goal.

The result left CAPS United in 16th place with 14 points from 13 games.

“We need to work even harder to remain at the top , we are targeting the championship,” said Gumbo after the match.

“CAPS United is my former team. I like the club so much and I feel sorry for them.

“They don’t deserve to be fighting relegation after having an early start into the season added Gumbo.

Under -fire head coach Lloyd Chitembwe chose not to appear before the media after the game.
