CAPS United play down latest defeat

CAPS United assistant coach Fungai Kwashi has played down their latest defeat in the Castle Lager Premiership and believes his side can still bounce back after a poor run of form.

CAPS United went down 3-1 to Chicken Inn at Luveve to stretch their win-less streak to five games.

The result saw CAPS United remain in 16th place with 14 points from 13 games.

Under fire head coach Lloyd Chitembwe shunned the media after the game but did appear to wave goodbye to the fans after the latest result.

“We lost the battle, but the war is still on said Kwashi after the game. “We will keep our heads up , all we need is just one win and we will be back in it he added.

CAPS United face another tricky fixture this weekend when they face Sunday Chidzambwa’s ZPC Kariba.
