Kaitano Tembo awarded at Supersport United

Zimbabwean Kaitano Tembo was awarded SuperSport’s CEO ‘Thomas Madigage’ Award at a prestigious award ceremony as Supersport United awarded its players for last season.

The former Warriors defender is a long-serving member of the Supersport technical team since he ended his playing days back in 2006.

The award is given to an individual who have contributed to the success of the team. Tembo also made 149 appearences for Supersport between 1999 and 2006 whilst scoring 5 goals in his 5 year stay.

However, the night belonged to Morgan Gould who scooped the team’s Player of the season award whilst Thabo Mnyamane took the player’s player of the season award.

Supersport is also home to Zimbabwean striker Kingston Nkhatha.
