Mathe happy with CAPS progress

CAPS United assistant coach Mark Mathe has expressed his pleasure with his team’s recent perfomance after a 2-1 win over rivals FC Platinum at Rufaro on Wednesday afternoon.

The defending champions has posted seven points in their last three outings. Speaking to the media in a post match press conference, the assistant coach was convinced how his team responded to the good play of their opponents.

“We accepted how good they are with the ball but how we should do to counter them that is what we worked on. We did not give them enough room to play”, said Mathe.

The gaffer also said about the work in progress and how they are slown crawing back to form.

” We dropped points where we didn’t want to but now we are happy with the way the team is picking up”.

Makepekepe’s plans were heavily disrupted by the busy roster due to their presence in the Champions League. Now their focus is back on track, they are hoping to carry on and recover to avoid relegation
