CLPSL Preview: Bosso, CAPS play in rescheduled fixtures

Highlanders and CAPS United will be involved in league action when they play in rescheduled fixtures on Wednesday afternoon.

The champions, CAPS, will play hosts to troubled side Black Rhinos at the National Sports Stadium. Rhinos have posted their worst run in the current season after going for five match losing streak.

Their woes could continue to mount if they don’t pull up against a resurgence Makepekepe.

The Green Machine has transformed themselves in short notice. They have lost some of their influential players like Abbas Amidu and Ronald Chitiyo during the transfer window.

However their resilience has been paying up and they have registered ten points from their last four games. They rose up on the table and are now two points clear of the relegation zone with five games in hand.

Rhinos, meanwhile, has been firing blanks at the front and it is something they need to work out judging from the recent game they played against Chicken Inn. The army side have only scored twice in their last five games

Elsewhere, Bulawayo giants Highlanders will be hoping to rediscover their form when they play Tsholotsho FC at Barbourfields. Its not going to be an easy ride for Bosso who are struggling themselves and, on the other hand, their opponents are looking for their first win of the season.

The visitors are on the bottom of table while Tshilamoya are on seventh with 32 points. Nonetheless, despite being 13 points behind log leaders Chicken Inn, Bosso still think they are still in the title race.

Its only one way out for the Bulawayo giants to justify their belief and that is a win over Tsholotsho on Wednesday afternoon.
