Malajila could leave Mamelodi Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns striker Cuthbert Malajila could seek a move away from the team should the ‘right deal’ come along as he appears not part of Mosimane’s plans.

The 33-year-old missed has not featured for Sundowns since his return from a loan spell with Bidvest wits.

Soccer24 understands that while Pitso Mosimane is keen to keep hold of the striker, he is unable to offer him assurances of first team football as he looks to strengthen his squad.

Sundowns may allow Malajila to depart Chloorkop on a transfer should the player find himself a satisfactory offer elsewhere. Sources from South Africa suggest that Orlando Pirates have tabled a offer for the striker as they seek a replacement for Tendai Ndoro.

Malajila joined Sundowns in 2013 from Maritzburg United and has scored 18 goals in 61 appearances. He also has 31 caps for Zimbabwe.
