CLPSL Matchday 23: Sunday Preview

Dynamos will be hoping to extend their four match winning streak when they play hosts to Yadah FC at Rufaro.

The clash will ignite memories from April when Dembare handed the league debutants their first defeat of the season after a fine start.

Since that defeat, Yadah has failed to keep consistance which saw them slump to current 14th position.

The Sunday game will present an opportunity for The Stars to move away from relegation. They have only managed one win in their last four games.

Striker Rodrick Mutuma will be playing against his former team in Yadah colours and defender Dennis Dauda will try to help caretaker coach Thomas Ruzive to register his second win after he took over from Jairos Tapera this month.

On the flip side the Glamour Boys are flying high with an impressive run of four wins from four matches.

Dynamos will welcome back their skipper Ocean Mushure who was on suspension. Mushure was the only goal scorer in the first leg against Yadah and his come back will be a boost to an already smart team which outclassed How Mine 6-0 on Thursday.

However they will be missing three of their players in Marshal Machazane, Carlos Rusere and Musa Madhiri who are out injured.

Elsewhere, bottom placed Tsholotsho are bursting with confidence ahead of the Shabanie Mine clash in Beitbridge after they collected their first set of maximum points against Highlanders on Wednesday.

The clash will be a fight for survival as Shabanie are also struggling to escape relegation. They are on 15th position with 22 points, ten more than those of Iziqholo zeZhwane.

The Zvishavane side will have to put aside their boardroom troubles which made headlines recently if they want to come out with anything from this clash.

How Mine are still smarting away from a 6-0 humiliation in their last game and have a lot to make up when they play away to Bantu Rovers at Barbourfields. Chikurupati is another troubled team with several regular players from the team on strike due to outstanding salaries and bonuses. Hopefully they will bring their full squad and play a competitive game.

Meanwhile, Triangle United will play Bulawayo City at Gibbo stadium
