Our form is frightening – Ndiraya

Ngezi Platinum Stars coach, Tonderai Ndiraya believes his team has done exceedingly well by achieving more than their targets for the season.

The coach was in happy mood on Saturday after his charges recorded their first league win against Highlanders. They beat Bosso by 3-0 with goals coming from Terrence Dzukamanja and a brace from Tichaona Mabvura.

In a post match interview with the Sunday Mail, Ndiraya said it was frightening to be in second position for a small team like Ngezi.

“We are a small fish in a big pond and it’s difficult as well as frightening to be in this position,” he said.

“Our target has been a top-four finish but who knows we may revise our targets for the season.”

The gaffer also said beating Highlanders boosted their confidence after they lost to CAPS United in their previous fixture.

“We played a good Highlanders team and the win gives us confidence as the season progresses.

“The win is also very important to us especially coming from that painful defeat last week.”

Madamburo are only two points short of log leaders Chicken Inn.
