Five picks from the CLPSL matchday 23

Disappointment, excitement and frustration were the order of the day during Matchday 23 over the weekend.

We have picked five of the biggest stories happened in case you missed it.

Dembare’s Magnificent five

Dynamos cruised to their fifth consecutive win when they beat Yadah 2-0 at Rufaro. This is Glamour Boys’ longest winning run in this season.

Highlanders stumble again

Bosso recorded their third straight loss when they fell heavy to Ngezi Platinum Stars by 3-0. This was their first league loss to Ngezi since the later got promoted last season. They have now conceded six goals in their last three games.

Mushure’s touch of class.

Dynamos’ captain Ocean Mushure  scored a spectacular goal on Sunday against which could stand as a contender for best goal of the season. He smashed home a rising bolt from outside of the box with his left foot which reached top right corner with fierce and speed.

Tsholotsho makes it two in a raw

Iziqholo ZeZhwane recorded their second win of the season when the beat Shabanie 2-1. They have now moved one place from the bottom of the table for the first time in several months.

How Mine’s rise from ashes

After an awful outing with Dynamos, How Mine put their house in order and claimed a convincing 3-1 win over Bantu Rovers. Their senior players who went on strike the whole of last week, came back and did justice for their team.
