Ruzive :Yadah Game Plan Backfired against Dynamos

Yadah coach Thomas Ruzive says their plan in the 2-0 defeat to Dynamos didn’t according to script as Dynamos managed to score first.

Yadah wanted to frustrate and contain Dynamos in the first half with striker Rodrick Mutuma and goalkeeper Tafadzwa Dube slowing the tempo of the game through soft injury complaints.

The churchmen had also started with two defensive midfielders Milton Makopa and Brian Mapfumo before changing in the second half.

” We wanted to contain them in the first and finish them in the second but the game plan failed to work. They got a goal and when we changed in the second we could not convert the chances that came our way. Had we scored, it could have changed the complexion of the game,” said Ruzive.

Yadah came back impressive in the second half probing the Dynamos but found goalkeeper Tonderai Mateyaunga unyielding.

Mateyaunga made some crucial saves on close range denying Mutuma, Dennis Dauda , Willard Kalongoda and Morris Musiyakuvi.

Yadah failed to build up on last week’s 1-0 win over Chapungu, leaving them in the relegation zone and in danger of a chop just a season into the top flight league.
