Caps Utd players boycott training

CAPS United players on Thursday boycotted training amid turmoil over outstanding salaries ahead of the Harare Derby.

Soccer24 is reliably informed that the Green Machine players are owed salaries, wining bonuses and unpaid sign on fees.

The players did not appear at their usual pick up points for the training session at the National Sports Stadium.

The Green Machine leadership appeared caught by surprise given that they had advised them the salaries would be delayed, because of a difficult operating environment, and would be paid after the Big Harare derby where Caps United where looking forward to cash in.

Makepekepe raised gate charges from the traditional $3 to $5 for the rest of ground. The VIP and the VVIP sections will attract $10 and $20 entry charges respectively.
