Epoupa could Miss Harare Derby

Christian Epoupa might have played his last match for Dynamos if the wishes of his handlers are anything to go by.

Epoupa missed Dynamos training on Thursday with fresh details emerging that his handlers were trying to force a move for him to South Africa, ostensibly to Ajax Cape Town.

A source at the club says Epoupa’s handlers held a meeting well into the late hours of Wednesday trying to push a move to South Africa without the knowledge of the Dynamos executive.

” The reason why Epoupa didn’t come for training is that he was told by his managers not to go as they were pushing for him to go to South Africa. Lloyd Mutasa was giving a lame excuse that he was resting him. I don’t know if the deal will sail through,” said the source.

Epoupa is reported to have impressed Ajax Cape Town scouts when he cushioned Ocean Mushure ‘s opener in the 2-0 win over Yadah last weekend. It remains to be seen if he is going to beat the Thursday midnight transfer deadline and seal a move away from DeMbare.

The big Cameroonian has been in top form for Dynamos and together with Mushure, they have been the stand out performers at the Glamour Boys.
