Mathe Happy With Derby Preparations

CAPS United assistant coach Mark Mathe is pleased with his team’s preparations ahead of the Harare Derby on Sunday.

CAPS United will host Dynamos at the National Sports Stadium in an encounter which promises to bring excitement, drama and goals.

Speaking to Herald after the training, Mathe said they were very happy with how things were going ahead of the clash.

“We are very happy with the commitment, the application and the focus on the part of our players,” said the assistant coach.

“We are planning for Dynamos as a unit, as a team tactically because these players play with others to make a difference. We are at home and we want to try as much as possible to use the home advantage to garner for three points.”

Despite the respect they have for Dembare, Mathe is optimistic his team will come out with maximum points.

Meanwhile Makepekepe’s squad got a boost when defenders Hardlife Zvirekwi and Stephen Makatuka returned for training. Midfielders Phineas Bamusi and Tafadzwa Rusike are also expected to play a part in the headlining encounter on Sunday
