Report: Rhinos collect first point in seven matches while Chicken Inn’s fairytale continues

Chicken Inn continued with their fine form when they beat How Mine 2-1 at Hartsfield.

Obadiah Tarumbwa sent the Gamecocks in to the early lead with only eight minutes in to the game. Seven minutes later, Dyral Nyandoro doubled the lead.
With only fifteen minutes left on the clock, Toto Banda pulled back one for How Mine. However Banda’s goal was a mare consolation as they lost 2-1.
Chicken Inn now have nine matches without a loss. They now have 51 points five above second placed Ngezi Platinum Stars.

At Rufaro it was joy all over when Black Rhinos grabed their first point in six matches against Triangle.

A stinging shot from a distance by Lameck Nhamo gave Triangle an early lead.

With the match seemingly heading for another loss for Rhinos, Lot Chiwengwa came to the rescue and earned Chauya Chipembere a precious point.

The draw means both teams remains on same positions with Rhinos on seventh while Triangle occupies the 8th position.

Yadah bounced back in style when they beat Bantu Rovers 3-0.
A 42nd minute goal from the spot through Kamudyarewa sent the host in to the lead before halftime.
Two quick goals in the second half gave Yadah a convincing 3 goal cushion.
A late consolation by Nigel Papias made the scoreline 3-1 at the end of the game.

Meanwhile Bulawayo City came out with three points at Hartsfield stadium when they beat ZPC Kariba 3-2.
Mkhululi Moyo’s goal from the penalty spot on the stroke of first half sent Amakhosi in to the lead before Francis Zikumbawire equalized five minutes in to the second half.
City soon restored their lead seven minutes later courtesy of Morris Kadzola’s effort.

Things started to swing from one side to another but it was ZPC Kariba who earned a penalty kick in the 75th minute. Godknows Mangani had no problems in converting that one.
With the scoreline leveled at 2-2, a dramatic turn of things occured when the hosts were awarded another penalty with three minutes left on the clock.
Goalkeeper Ndodana Sibanda scored it and Bulawayo City emerged winners after 90 minutes.

Tsholotsho’s hopes of securing their third win of the season were extinguished when they lost 2-1 away to Harare City.

The Sunshine Boys took control in the 25th minute when Malvin Gaki played the ball to Martin Vengesai who kept his cool and struck home superbly.
Three minutes later, Gaki found Vengesai again waiting and quickly released the ball. The striker had no problems converting that and Harare City were two up to the good.
With just few minutes over the half hour mark, Lucky Vundla pulled back one for the visitors.
The scoreline remained unchanged for the remainder of the game and Tsholotsho were back to their losing ways.
