Machazane Hurt After Missing Out On Harare Derby

Dynamos central defender Marshal Machazane is hurt after he was ruled out of the potentially explosive Harare Derby through injury.

Machazane suffered a foot injury which ruled him out of the last two matches and was hoping to recover on time for the Caps United game and will watch the match from the terraces.

” Its every player’s dream to play in such a high profile match and stand to be counted. I was hoping to recover and be on the team but I failed, which really hurt me,” said Machazane.

” I am now praying that I will have fully recovered when we play against Highlanders. Games involving Caps United and Highlanders are the games that any ambitious players would want to partook in. But at the end of the end I leave everything to God,”.

Machazane has had a stellar season at Dynamos this far after having joined the club mid season last year from How Mine.

The tall defender , a favourite of coach Lloyd Mutasa who bestowed him with the armband while at WhaWha two seasons ago, is among those nursing injuries at Dynamos including Carlos Rusere and Musa Madhiri.

The Bulawayo born defender was part of the 2006 brigade together with Eric Mudzingwa to win the league title with Highlanders after graduating from the juniors that year.
