Ndiraya A Worried Man!

Ngezi Platinum coach Tonderayi Ndiraya is not amused by his team’s attitude and inconsistency away from home.

Ndiraya was left disappointed after his charges lost 1-0 to lowly Shabanie on Sunday to drop into fourth position, five points behind log leaders Chicken Inn.

” We have lost twice away from home now and it’s not good for a club that wants to keep up with the leading pack. We have to be consistent to get results and I am worried about our consistency and I am worried about our attitude playing away from home,” said Ndiraya.

“If we hangout any aspirations of winning the title we need to change our attitude. We also have to learn to play away from home and play in bad pitches. But I am still very much optimistic because there are still many points to play for,”.

Ngezi had a head start to the season ahead of other teams together with Caps United as they prepared for a sojourn in the African Confederation Cup.

Their head start helped them to set the pace in the first half of the season along with army side Black Rhinos who have run out of energy, but two away loses to Caps United and Shabanie Mine has seen Ngezi Platinum surrender the top spot to Chicken Inn in the past weeks.

Another tough assignment awaits them in their next away fixture when they take on ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga stadium.
