We Should Have Beaten Dynamos by 5 Goals: Kwashi

CAPS United assistant coach Fungai Tostao Kwashi believes they must have beaten Dynamos by a wider goal margin had the strikers been precise in front of goal.

Dominic Chungwa scored the goal that made the difference mid way through the second half but Kwashi believes the solitary strike was not a the true reflection of the attacking potency they showed.

“We created the best chances of the day. I think we should have got at least 4- 5 goals. No disrespect to Dynamos but CAPS came to the party from the word go and to the end, said Kwashi.

“Credit to the whole team, great win against our rivals and we keep on marching forward. The city is painted green and we thank God for the victory,”.

Chungwa who scored last season to end Dynamos’ seven year dominance, was again on target, this time around ending a seven match unbeaten run by DeMbare.

The striker also showed that he was the missing part in the Caps United jigsaw puzzle in the defeat a fortnight ago as his goal made the difference and took his goal tally to 10, two behind Christian Epoupa of Dynamos who will miss the next game through suspension.

The win pushed Caps United into seventh position on league table.
