Chibuku Match Report: Dynamos 1-2 Bulawayo City

Dynamos once again suffered the agony of exiting the Chibuku Super Cup in the first round after losing 2-1 to Bulawayo City.

Bulawayo City put up a vintage second half display with goals from exciting Sipho Ndlovu and Zephaniah Ngodzo canceling out an early first half strike from Christian Epoupa.

Despite surging ahead through the Cameroonian fifteen minutes into the game, DeMbare didn’t show much hunger to add more. With Dynamos being hesitant, Bulawayo took the initiative with dreadlocked Rainsome Pavari initiating most of the moves from the midfield where he was ably assisted by Innocent Kutsanzira.

With the winds sailing in their favour, Ndlovu pulled one back after some good work by Ishmael Wadi. Veteran Ngodzo then put the icing on the cake with a beautiful free kick from just outside the box.

Dembare became one of the favourites alongside Ngezi Platinum, FC Platinum, Chicken Inn and Highlanders to bow out at the first attempt.
