The Premier Soccer League has rubbished social media claims that they have recently hiked their gate charges for all PSL games.

In a statement, PSL distanced itself from the claims and adviced that there is no price hike in gate charges

The statement reads:

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has noted with concern a malicious falsehood recently circulating on social media indicting that “the PSL has hiked gate charges with effect from 26 September 2017….with the cheapest ticket now pegged at $5”.
We wish to advise our valued stakeholders that this statement is false in its entirety and should be dismissed with the contempt it deserves.
The standard cheapest ticket price for all PSL matches is currently pegged at $3 although Clubs are permitted to apply for an increase or decrease for certain matches.
