Now I Can Afford To Sleep: Beefy

Harare City coach Philani ‘Beefy’ Ncube felt hugely relieved after beating Chapungu 1-0 to temporarily move out of the relegation zone.

Wilfred Muvirimi scored the all important goal in added time heading in a cross from a Raymond Uchena free kick.

” Now I can afford to sleep at least for 24 hours because we have now gone on top of Chapungu. I am a bit relieved now because we want to continue moving upwards,” said Ncube.

” It was a tough match for us coming from a difficult match against Highlanders that sapped all the energy from us. Even when Chapungu tried to be stubborn, we kept on probing until we got the winner. We knew that if we continue attacking we were going to get a goal and we did. But this match is now history and now we need to look ahead,”.

The win pushed Harare into 12th position on same points with Yadah on 31 but ahead on superior goal difference.

The Sunshine Boys take on log leaders Dynamos on Sunday in their next game.
