Mapeza confident of surpassing previous mark

FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza is hopeful his team will surpass the points they achieved last season.

The Pure Platinum Play finished the previous campaign as runners up on 61 points. They were two points behind champions CAPS United.

With seven games left and currently on 53 points, Mapeza is confident of his team’s will pick up maximum points in their remaining games.

“We still have 21 points to go and we just need three wins to reach that mark. Its still game on, we need to continue working hard,” he said.

The Zvishavane side will play away to Highlanders in match day 28 then host neighbours Shabanie Mine in the following round. They will clash with another title chaser Ngezi Platinum at Mandava in their 33rd match of the season.
