Preview: Chibuku Super Cup Quarter Finals

CAPS United and Shabanie Mine will clash in a potentially explosive Chibuku Super Cup quarter final encounter at Maglas Stadium.

The Green Machine who have posted an impressive form in their recent games will be hoping to pick up a victory in Zvishavane this afternoon. They have dropped points once in their last five outings in all competitions. With less injury worries in their squad, they are likely going to field their best team but that will not mean the win will come easily for them.

Looking back in their previous encounters at the same venue, Makepekepe have failed to come out with a win in several years. On the other side, the Chinda Boys have also been in good form of late. They never lost in their last five games picking up three wins on the way.

They make a return to the mining town after playing FC Platinum in a league match last week at Mandava.

In another quarter final match, Bulawayo City will date Yadah at Barbourfields Stadium.

Amakhosi are hoping to progress to the next round after their coach Mandla Mpofu declared that his charges were ready for the clash. However, their inconsistency is something they should be concerned about. Facing a team like Yadah who are in good form will be tricky for them.
