FC Platinum to appeal over disallowed goal

FC Platinum will appeal to the Premier Soccer League over a disallowed goal which was scored during a 1-1 draw against CAPS United at Mandava in match day 27.

The goal was scored in the second half by Kevin Moyo but it was waved for an offside. According to the Herald, club secretary-general Benson Wirimai said they have obtained a video evidence which they will use when they appeal.

“We are planning to take up the case with the authorities so that justice can be served on this issue. Now we have obtained the video evidence of that goal, which in our own interpretation we feel it was a legitimate goal,” said Wirimai.

“During the match on that day, we were convinced that it was a legitimate goal, but it was difficult for us to raise an issue because we did not have evidence to contest the disallowed goal.’’

FC Platinum are in title contention  and they are sitting on third on the log, 3 points behind log leaders Dynamos.
