Shabanie Mine will be hoping to boost their chances of surviving relegation when they host Chicken Inn at Maglas  Stadium this afternoon.

The match promises to be a potentially explosive encounter with both teams fighting to achieve a crucial victory. Chicken Inn, on the other hand are looking for nothing less than three points in order to maintain their momentum in the title contention.

Currently, the Gamecocks are sitting on forth position with 51 points, five less to log leaders Dynamos. Shabanie are on 15th place with 30 points and they need a win to move outside the relegation zone for at least 24 hours.

In previous encounters, the Chinda Boys have failed to pick up maximum points  since their first ever league tie in 2011. However history can be written today if they manage to take their recent form in to this game. Meanwhile, Chicken Inn are still smarting away from that humiliating 4-0 defeat at the hands of Highlanders in last league round.
