CLPSL: Dynamos faulter in title charge, Ngezi close gap on leaders, Bantu Relegated

Dynamos faltered to a 1-1 draw in Kariba against ZPC Kariba this afternoon but remain top of the Castle Lager Premiership standings despite victory from close rivals Ngezi Platinum.

ZPC Kariba took the lead in the first half through Never Tigere but Denver Mukamba on his return cancelled it out with a second half goal.

Dynamos will see their lead cut down to just one after Ngezi Platinum edged Bulawayo City away at Barbourfields Stadium. Ngezi moved back to second on the log and closed the gap on log leaders with the 1-0 win over the Bulawayo side.

Qadr Amini scored the all important goal in the 67th minute in a highly exhilarating match.

Methembe Ndlovu’s sorry Bantu Rovers became the first team to be relegated from the Premier Soccer League after a heavy 5-0 away defeat by Harare City at Rufaro Stadium.

An exciting 6 goal thriller at the National Sports Stadium saw Yadah give away a 2 goal lead to draw 3-3 with Black Rhinos.

In other matchday 28 games played today, Hwange eased their relegation worries with a 1 nil win over How Mine while Tsholotsho were condemned deep in relegation courtesy of a 3 nil drubbing ag the hands of Chapungu.
