Byo City’s Sibanda suffers fractured skull in sickening collision

Bulawayo City captain Zibusiso “Mzimara” Sibanda has undergone an emergency operation following his horror clash with fellow teammate defender Nyasha Mukambi.

The Bulawayo City midfielder, was rushed to Mpilo hospital after a sickening aerial collision that left him with a fractured skull.

Sibanda was treated for nine minutes on the pitch by medics from both set of teams after the incident before being taken off on a stretcher in a neck brace while receiving oxygen.

Bulawayo City lost the match 1-0 to Ngezi who cut Dynamos lead at the top to just a point.
