The verdict on the Shabanie Mine and CAPS United abandoned match which was due on Tuesday had been deferred to today after the Ad hoc committee failed to meet yesterday.

One of the commissioners unfortunately fell sick before the committee could sit, so the deliberations are on Wednesday at the same time. A Source close to the issue confirmed the postponement of the hearing citing the failure of one of the commissioners to attend  due to an ailment.

“Yes I can confirm that we didn’t deliberate over the issue because one of the commissioners fell sick. The issue will now be heard on Wednesday (today) at the same time,” said the source.

Meanwhile, How Mine will have to wait a little bit longer before they know their opponents in the semi final . The gold miners were paired against either Shabanie or CAPS pending the outcome of the verdict , while Harare city will face off against fellow municipal team Bulawayo City.
